A great spring morning

This morning was SO nice. Everything about it. I knew the weather was supposed to be nice, but it was downright warm, probably near 70.

The kids played together in the sunroom, and they played so well. No yelling from Emily that Alex was taking something. No additional bruises on Alex from yet again hitting his head on something.

We went into the backyard and talked to our neighbors, who were working on their garden. They mentioned there were some baby bunnies running around, so we went inside to cut up some carrots. Emily tossed them throughout the backyard for them.

We went inside and grabbed a quick snack, and then met the neighbor and her baby out front to go on a walk.

Then we came inside, had lunch, and the kids went down for naps.

It's just so nice when everything runs smoothly. And this weather really puts me in a great mood.


It has since started raining, so I'm glad we took advantage of the weather when we did.

If the rain stops, maybe we'll grill some chicken for dinner tonight. It's supposed to be a bit cooler this weekend (in the 50's, which is still do-able compared to the snow we had last weekend). I'm hoping we can get the kids' swingset all set up.
